Bachelor Studies

1. Information

  • visit us on doors open day. If you miss it, don't worry. Notify your classmates and write to us when you would like to arrive and we will introduce the Faculty to you.
  • Now you have last chance to sign up to study in English (Only for Bachelor's Regional Development in English program)!!!
  • choose your field of study
  • familiarize yourselves with the conditions for admission to bachelor study

2. Application

  • Fill in the electronic application form 

  • Pay the application fee - the fee for the academic year 2015/16 is set at 440 CZK, you will find your unique payment data in the electronic application (if your payment does not appear in your e-application in 10 days' time, please send the proof of payment to studijni.frrms@mendelu.cz)
  • Make sure your application is complete - in the Applicant section items Personal Information and Address must be marked by a green sign, in the E-application section items  Sign in Information, Payment Successful a Paper a. f. delivery (paper application form will be marked green when the payment is received, you no longer need to send a printed application form )
    If the application form is not complete by a specified date, it won't be included in the admission procedure.


3. Entrance Examinations

  • The entrance examination period lasts from 12th September 2013 (the exact time and date of the exam will be sent to each applicant)

  • Exam contents 

    Language test (English / German) - 50 min - 100 points max. - recommended literature

    Study skills test - 60 min - 100 points max. - recommended literature

  • A different test is generated for each applicant. It is necessary to pass both tests which form the exam, the Faculty does not accept the SCIO test results or language certificates.

  • If you still have not sent us your officially verified school leaving certificate, take with you to the exam or deliver it to the study department five days after the exam at the latest. If you receive your school leaving certificate after this date, deliver its officially verified copy to the study department immediately after you obtain it. If you apply to more faculties at Mendel University, it is necessary to send a copy of your school leaving cerificate to each of them individully.

4. Results

  • You will find your exam results here within ten days after the examination. The official results including a decision whether you have been admitted or not will be sent to you by post. 

  • If you are not admitted, you can file a "Request to Review Decisionwithin thirty days after receiving the decision. You will be informed about the result within one month of the day the review was received.

  • If you are admitted, you will also receive information about the registration. The date of registration is firmly set. The applicants who cannot come to the registration personally, can be represented by a person with an officially validated letter of authority.

     

Master Continuing Study

1. Information

  • choose your field of study

2. Application

  • Fill in the electronic application form 

  • Pay the application fee - the fee for the academic year 2015/16 is set at 440 CZK, you will find your unique payment data in the electronic application (if your payment does not appear in your e-application in 10 days' time, please send the proof of payment to studijni.frrms@mendelu.cz)

3. Entrance examination (International Territorial Studies) 

  • The date of entrance examination is 12. 9. 2013 (the exact time when the exam starts will be sent to each applicant in the first half of July).

  • Entrance examination contents

Regional development - maximum of 100 points

Problems of the developing world - maximum of 100 points 

  • A different test is generated for each applicant. It is necessary to pass both tests which form the exam, the Faculty does not accept the SCIO test results nor language certificates. 
  • If you still have not provided us with the proof of education (diploma), please take it with you to the exam. If you deliver a legitimate written request to the study department, the dean can set a different term for supplying the proof of education.

4. Results

  • The results will appear in the UIS within ten days after the exam. The official results including a decision whether you have been admitted or not will be sent to you by post.
