Frequently Asked Questions (not for private students)

·           How much does it cost to study in English?

The tuition for one subject is 1000 CZK per semester. Each semester has usually 4-6 subjects, so approximately the students pay 5000 CZK per semester.

·           In the electronic application form is written that I have to send printed application form to the address of study department but on the web pages you say that I do not have to. So how is it?

The system of application forms is the same for whole university and some faculties still ask for sending of printed application form. In case of FRRMS you do not have to send the application form. The application form will automatically marked as delivered after the payment of the application form.

·           I received an e-mail that the paper application form warm was delivered to me, although I did not send anyone. What does it mean?

Your application form was automatically marked as delivered after the payment.

·           Can I bring officially verified copy of the school-leaving certificate to the entrance exams or do I have to send it by post?

It is necessary to deliver the officially verified copy of the school-leaving certificate to the study department at least 5 days after entrance exams. You can hand it in just during the entrance exam.

·           If I did not get to the International territorial studies, would it be possible to try to this field of study in English?

There is no way to admit any applicant to the field of study where he did not send his application form and so did not participate on the entrance exams. If you are interested in another field of study you can enrol next year again. If you want to increase your chances, we recommend you to enrol to more fields of study (the result which is not good enough to be admitted in one field of study can be acceptable in another, but you cannot join the admissions retrospectively.

·           If I was admitted to the Regional development which is paid, would it be possible to shift to the same field of study in Czech which is for free?

The shift between fields of study is not allowed. Each student can study only in the field of study where he sent the application form, passed successfully through the entrance exams, was admitted and made the registration to the studies. If you did not send the application form, did not participate on the entrance exams, failed during the entrance exams, was not admitted or did not register to the studies, you cannot study. The only way is to send the application form and pass through the entrance exams.

·           I would like to enrol to the preparatory language course for the entrance exams. Where can I find some information?

All the information about the preparatory language course for the entrance exams including the application form and information about the payment can be found here.
